Coronation Park takes pride in offering comfortable and clean accommodations coupled with a friendly welcome. We enjoy travelling within New Zealand and overseas so we can relate to your needs and understand how important clean facilities and warm, tidy accommodation are to our guests.
We have a range of accommodation types to suit your budget. We have two-bedroom units which sleep 2 to 9 people, one-bedroom units that are great for smaller groups of 1 to 4 people and studio units that sleep between 1 to 3 people. Our units are equipped with a full kitchen, a generous lounge and private spacious bathrooms and are ideal for families big and small and even sports teams.
Budget-conscious travellers would find the best value in our standard cabin accommodations. We also have camping facilities to welcome tents, caravans and camper vans. We have grassed and hard sites that are powered and non-powered. Cabin guests and camping guests can enjoy shared facilities such as bathrooms, the communal kitchen and TV lounge, laundry facilities and outdoor entertainment area with a covered BBQ.
We would love to make your Ashburton camping experience a special one. Our facilities and camping grounds strive to achieve this for you. We also have a mature woodland area, children’s adventure playground and freshwater swimming pool open all summer. Truck and boat parking are available. If you’re bringing pets with you, just give us a call to arrange. We are among the few pet-friendly holiday parks in Canterbury. We love animals and have some resident pets at Coronation Holiday Park, too! We’d love for you to meet our Cocker Spaniel and adopted stray cat.
We are located just off SH1 and close to town, which makes us the perfect base for exploring mid-Canterbury and everything it has to offer. Fishing, climbing, walking, tramping, skiing, swimming, rafting, hot air ballooning, skydiving, jet boating, golfing – you’ll find it all right here in Ashburton District. There are also have numerous galleries and museum within easy reach from the holiday park. A quick stroll from Coronation Park gets you into the town centre where you’ll find plenty of shops, cafes and a cinema. As hosts, we have been in Ashburton since 2002 and would be happy to share our local knowledge of the area.
